Bios are tradionallly written in the third-person, however I have chosen to present this bio in the first-person to underscore my determination to always be there for you in person from the beginning to end.
How do you define success? For me, success in real estate means repeat business from past home sellers and buyers, underscored by referrals to their friends, famiy and associates. There are no tricks- just an upfont approach based on a thorough knowledge of the Vancouver market, a firm grasp of technology, a strong work ethic, my obession with personal service and a total commitment to my clients.
I have sold hundreds of homes since I joined RE/MAX in 2000. While my achievements have been recognized in the RE/MAX Hall of fame, and through other peer awards reognizing top perorming REALTORS, it is the kind words from clients that mean the most. I believe that my professional and personable approach will help to reduce stress while I work to obtain the best price and terms when selling or buying real estate for you.
Graduating in 1979 from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Science/ Engineering degree, I left Ireland a year later to come to Canada. Following a successful career in industrial construction and project management, shift to sales and marketing led me to real estate. Having lived in Vancouver since 1980, my knowledge of the area, combined with my experience and understanding of the requirements of selling and buying homes, makes the process a success for everyone from experienced home owners looking to sell, to first time buyers looking to get into the market.
Real estate keeps me busy virtually every day of the week, so there is little time for hobbies. I do however, manage to find a few weeks for travel each year and hope to continue adding new places to the list of over 36 counties I have visited world-wide.
Meanwhile, I am so grateful for the patience of my wife Nicole who despite having a career of her own as a paralegal, provides the unfaltering support and encouragment to make it possible for rme to continue to give my undivided attention to the needs of my clients.
